There have been discussions about Samurai in the blogosphere recently.

Guy Kawasaki, creator of killer site Alltop & blogger and Ego Jeremiah Owyang have become quite “animated” on the subject:

PodTech
Jeremiah’s Blog
Aliya Zaidi’s Evolution Blog

Here’s the response of the 400 year-old Kataoka Samurai Sword:

Oh my, I don’t have a Samurai Sword, but I’m sure glad Drue has one and knows how to use it. Don’t worry Drue I’m not rethinking our alliance. I enjoy hi-tech toys. I wonder what the world would be like if my hi-tech toys were as old as yours.

Incredible! Drue you handle that Samurai Sword very well. I don’t think people realize how much those things weigh. Great form, presented like a professional.

Behold the 8th samurai! Kambei, Katsushiro, and Shichiroji would be in good company. Perchance Drue could resurrect the film that immortalized the Original 7 in modern-day Silicon Valley, protecting start-ups and entrepreneurs against IP piracy and infringement. But to find funding for such a project…

Wow. great response. I so want to go to Japan and do some samurai training. Nice looking sword too. @shawn – I would love to see the 7 resurrected as well! What a great concept for a graphic novel

The best forehand – Samurai-style – I have ever seen! Maybe I should save a tennis scholarship for Drue??

Wow, awesome use of the sword. Thanks for sharing it with me and watching marketing voices and listening to guy joust with Jeremiah.

The Samurai sword represents the knowledge, craftsmanship, values and aesthetic sense of an incredible culture. Drue is including everyone in on her soulful adventure and I for one am grateful.

As for the Video, we should make another one hundred times better on YouTube. The subject is perfect but the form of delivery, the video is not match with it at all.

I believe that there are lots stories to tell for your Kataoka Samurai sword. I like the picture you are pulling your Samurai sword out. Edgy, something is going to happen, make you imbalanced, force you to learn something new in order to survive. Just like you at the tipping point.
